WELCOME TO Wintering: Somatic Healing for Your Body’s Winter and Inner Renewal

  A live, online 4-week somatic healing journey supporting you in connecting with the medicine and spontaneous healing of your mind and body starting on 15th January 2025

Just as the natural world cycles through periods of activity and rest....

Your body, mind, and spirit need their own time to pause, reflect, and heal. 


Wintering is about honouring this rhythm—a gentle retreat into the quiet that allows you to restore and renew.


But for many of us, we are unable to do that as the pressures of life take over. 


Which is why winter also brings physical challenges—cold and flu symptoms, fatigue, and the stress that often accompanies them. 


This 4-week program is an invitation to meet yourself where you are. It’s not about fixing or pushing through; it’s about learning to be with your body’s experience and creating the safety needed for deep, somatic healing.

Why Wintering?

Wintering is for anyone who feels the pull to slow down but struggles to give themselves permission. Maybe you’ve been navigating chronic stress, seasonal colds or flu, emotional exhaustion, or the lingering effects of trauma.

  • The nervous system’s  connection to seasonal symptoms like fatigue, immune challenges, and stress.

  • Practices to undo patterns of tension and survival that keep your body stuck in overdrive.

Wintering invites you to slow down and nurture your body through somatic practices and gentle sensory explorations designed to soothe, restore, and activate your body’s natural capacity for healing.

What You’ll Learn in Wintering

Over 4 weeks

You’ll be guided through somatic practices, and nervous system education to support your body’s natural healing rhythms. 


Together, we’ll explore:

· Slowing Down with Intention
How to shift from “doing” to “being with” your body’s sensations, inviting curiosity and compassion into your experience.

· Decoupling Fear from Symptoms
Understanding the connection between your immune system, nervous system, and how fear shapes your physical symptoms.

· Spontaneous Healing and Nervous System Regulation
Learning how to support your body’s innate healing capacity by fostering states of safety and connection.

· The Mind-Immune Connection
Exploring the interplay between your immune system and your emotions, and how this impacts your capacity to heal.

· Somatic Practices for Wintering
Simple, accessible tools like breath awareness, self-directed touch, and grounding techniques to create ease and regulation.

You will have developed a powerful toolkit to support your body’s healing process, not just through the physical symptoms of cold and flu but also in your emotional and mental well-being during challenging times.

  • Use somatic practices to soothe inflammation, fatigue, and other winter symptoms.

Slowing down to notice what is present, building somatic trust, and engaging with the felt sense of safety.


3. Undoing Patterns of Survival
Identifying and unlearning unconscious habits of tension, fear, and hypervigilance.


4. Building Inner Resources for Resilience
Anchoring to felt-sense resources and learning how to pendulate between ease and challenge.


5. Restoring Balance: Immune and Nervous System Harmony
Exploring the mind-body connection through gentle somatic practices and self-inquiry.


6. Integration and Renewal
Bringing everything together in a way that supports your ongoing journey of healing and connection.

This is an invitation to pause, reflect, and meet yourself in the stillness. 

Through somatic healing practices, breath awareness, and nervous system education, Wintering will guide you into a space of safety and renewal—helping you embrace the gifts of this season and emerge with greater ease and connection.

Pay-from-the-Heart for the Wintering Program

This program is offered using a Pay-from-the-Heart model to ensure accessibility and sustainability.

In the spirit of generosity and inclusivity, I am offering this program using a Pay-from-the-Heart model inspired by the wisdom of Mark Silver and Tad Hargrave. This model honours the diversity of financial realities, allowing each participant to contribute in a way that feels both sustainable and meaningful.


How It Works

  1. Minimum Contribution: To support the basic costs of offering this program, the minimum investment is £100.
  2. Recommended Price: Based on the value of the program and what it takes to sustain my work, the recommended contribution is £160.
  3. Your Choice, Your Heart: You are invited to choose your contribution anywhere from £100 upwards, based on your financial capacity and what feels right to you. There are no questions asked, no explanations required, and no judgments made.


How to Decide What to Pay


As you determine your contribution, I encourage you to consider the following:

  1. Your Financial Capacity:
    If you are currently navigating financial limitations, the minimum of £100 ensures you can still participate without undue stress.  If you’re in a more stable or abundant place financially, contributing closer to the recommended price of £160 or more helps sustain this program and allows others with fewer resources to join as well.


  1. The Value You Receive:
    Reflect on what this Wintering Program offers you in terms of support, growth, and renewal. What is it worth to you, not just in monetary terms, but in terms of the impact it will have on your winter season and beyond?


  1. Your Desire to Support Others:
    If you feel called to contribute more than the recommended amount, your generosity helps make this program accessible to others who might not otherwise be able to participate.
